The staff were very friendly and eager to please. The hotel was comfortable and relaxing and in beautiful grounds. The food was nice but a little bit expensive.
The only thing that spoilt a perfect stay was that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Location and setting were beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful with friendly atmosphere
At breakfast, after not being approached by waiting staff for 10 mins, I had to find somebody to ask for coffee and the scrambled eggs were wet and sloppy!

The value for money at this hotel was fantastic, and the room we stayed in was beautiful, with oak beam ceilings and a view of the orchards/vineyard. The location was picturesque, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by pushing the breakfast times back a bit at weekends.

I have stayed a couple of times now as it is a great location for visiting my clients and I will stay again. Both times I have stayed in the coach house which is a lovely quaint building separate from the hotel but in the same grounds. The restaurant is in a large conservatory area at the back of the hotel overlooking gardens and fields. Makes a lovely setting for an evening meal and a nice way to wake in the morning whilst having breakfast.
The only problem I found is that the phone signals in the coach house are terrible and I therefore could not access the internet and found it a little frustrating not being able to use my mobile.

The bathroom was well-equipped, including a small bath and walk-in shower. The restaurant provided a delightful dining experience, with attentive and helpful staff. The hotel grounds were captivating, allowing us to unwind and take in the peaceful atmosphere. we would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

The room was good, as was the en-suite; it was separate to the main building and so was quiet and overlooked the kitchen garden only so was private.
The en-suite should have the glass in the windows replaced with obscure glass.
